Best Chicago Style Thin Crust Suasage 'Za around

Posted byRyan G.on 3/18/2006

The Quon' has been around for years...my father in law used to work there 30 years ago. Without a doubt, if you want sausage pizza or Italian Bombers (sausage sandwich with red sauce) it is the place to go. They serve Chicago Style super thin crust pizza (cut into squares, as it should be) with other toppings, but the sauage is the way to go because the make it themselves! The bombers are, well, the bomb. If I go to the Quonset with a co-worker for lunch and don't bring on home for my wife she gets pretty upset, they are that good.In any case, the Quon is a very popular place, with both eat-in seating, a bar, and a take-out section. The menu has more than what I have describe, but the 'za and the bombers are the way to go.

Thin crust - if you like that

I am not a thin crust fan, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. This pizza has nice sauce and toppings, but they don't sell anything but thin crust so that's definitely a downer. They are very popular though, and have delivery as well as eat-in, plus a bar if you want to come watch games there or spend time with friends. Pretty popular place.
